Dairy Farm Anaerobic Digester, California

Application:

The facility installed a new H2S scrubbing system to treat the biogas produced from their dairy farm. The gas was required to be treated to 10 ppm.

MV Solution:

MV provided a two-vessel configuration of our SulfAx™ System operated in lead-lag. This system, containing 44,000 lbs. of our enhanced granular media, delivers a maximum H2S outlet concentration of 10 ppm.

Cheese Processing Facility, Wisconsin

Application:

The facility installed a new H2S scrubbing system to treat the biogas produced from their cheese processing operation. The gas was required to be treated to below 50 ppm.

MV Solution:

MV provided a single-vessel configuration of our H2SPlus™ System. This system, containing our enhanced iron sponge media, BAM™ Media, delivers a maximum H2S outlet concentration of less than 50 ppm, under the stated current operating conditions.

Poultry Protein Processing Facility, South Carolina

Application:

A co-generation energy facility was developed to utilize biogas from a poultry protein processing facility digester. Prior to gas utilization, the methane was simply flared.

MV Solution:

MV Technologies provided a single-vessel solution to reduce the influent H2S concentration to below the desired 200 ppm requirement for the CHP equipment. MV Technologies partnered with a biogas conditioning and packaging firm to provide a turnkey solution for this client. The provided package conditions the digester gas (H2S and moisture removal) and compresses the gas for delivery to the cogen unit.

Yogurt Dairy Digester, New Hampshire

Application:

A digester on-site at a dairy food processing farm treats facility wastewater consisting mostly of wash water and chemicals from cleaning food processing equipment. An H2S removal system was needed to treat the gas for a micro turbine. In addition the biogas can also be combusted in a boiler.

MV Solution:

MV Technologies worked directly with the client to develop a customized vessel configuration to accommodate the specific flow rate and H2S concentrations expected from the digester. The facility has realized a significant reduction in the boiler maintenance after the installation of this system.
